Affordable & Accessible Child CareThe YMCA of Central Ohio is the largest provider of child care in our community. We serve over 3,000 children annually in 45 infant, preschool and child care locations.Because we provide this care, parents can work or search for employment AND their children can feel safe and learn, because they have someone who cares for and about them. |

Housing and Supportive ServicesOur YMCA is the largest provider of supportive housing in central Ohio. We are the champions for adults, veterans and other at-risk persons.The economy continues to challenge our community - and men and women who are "on the verge" of becoming homeless turn to us for help. Each year, we provide low-income housing for over 1,200 men and women at the Downtown YMCA and Sunshine Terrace locations. |

HELP JUST ONE FAMILY"I am a single parent of two. The YMCA "Before and After Care" programs and their summer camps have helped me tremendously. I don't have much family here and the family I do have can't help. I often tell people how the Y sponsored my family for Christmas - and how my kids received gifts - they wouldn't have had a Christmas if it wasn't for the Y. $5 a month: Helps develop the skills of a young athlete in a YMCA youth sports program. $10 a month: Builds the self-confidence of a child through swim and water safety lessons. $15 a month: Builds one community for seven seniors in an Active Older Adult program – for relief from the aches of age and feeling alone. $20 a month: Gives local teens the opportunity to make a difference in their community through the YMCA’s Teen Leaders program. $25 a month: Helps build a friendship between two youngsters at a YMCA Summer Day Camp, where they’ll learn how to canoe, hike and be best friends forever. $50 a month: Gives a homeless adult shelter AND hope for a better future. $65 a month: Strengthens a family in need from your community through a YMCA membership. $100 a month: Allows a child to find safe haven and new learning experiences through a YMCA After School program.

We provide child care for infants and children, equipment for those with challenges so they can stay mobile, diabetes programs for prevention and management, and nearly 100 other programs and services to provide a better quality of life for central Ohioans.
